I do not care for president Trump one way or another. I am apolitical. But if I was advising Trump I will tell him the following: admit that you've actually learned a lesson in Washington DC. Express gratitude to all the people that did oppose you on the health-care bill. Hold a press conference and say something like ‘yes this lesson I have learned was hard but more importantly I now have a deeper appreciation for the process of learning new things. I want to take this defeat and use the full power of this office for the benefit of all our children across America.’
‘I will put forth a new Department of Education directive to ensure that all our children learn their lessons as well as I have mine. If a President can still learn, well, surely that example must be set for all our children to see how important it is to take one’s education seriously and learn your lessons well. I did and will do my best so all young Americans do as well. Better schools, teacher salaries and whatever other support for them I can muster, I shall. Thank you, God bless you, God Bless America, and certainly God bless all our dedicated teachers. Good night.
